The sub-Sahara biggest brewery which has over four production plants in Nigeria wanted to reduce its energy cost as well as to reduce its carbon emission

Project Description
A 150 kWp rooftop solar PV with full integration into the energy mix of the breweries as part of their COP 21 commitment to go green before 2025 Status: 1st phase completed.

Protergia became the first company to develop the first commercial project in a brewery.

International Brewery Plc (Anheuser-Busch InBev) is the world’s largest brewer. The company committed to solar-powered brewing operations to reduce cost and carbon emission footprint and as such, Protergia Nigeria Limited completed a 150 kWp PV installation at its Sagamu plant which energizes the engine and control room (sub-3) of the plant. International Brewery Plc (ABInBev) looks to increase renewable energy power generation and eventually energize the whole 2.5MW plant with sustainable energy in future phases of the project.
