Kaura Namoda is a Local Government Area in Zamfara State, Nigeria.. It has an area of 868 km² and a population of 281,367 at the 2006 census. In 2020, the Kaura Namoda project was successfully selected under Interconnected Mini Grid Acceleration Scheme (IMAS) managed by the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) and supported by the Nigerian Energy Support Programme (NESP) to receive more than $600,000 in grant funding.
