Powering Progress: The Ala-Elefosan Story

In 2021, Protergia Energy, in partnership with All On and the USADF, collaborated with the Ondo State Power Supply Company to bring electricity to the Ala-Elefosan community through our isolated mini-grid project.

Through this partnership, we initiated the project’s first phase, which involved securing funding for and operating a 45kW mini-grid with the potential to expand to 60kW. This grid now provides 24/7 electricity to the community,  leading to increased economic activity and an improved  standard of living.

The mini-grid currently serves over 200 connections, including schools, clinics, and women-owned businesses.
